Life Story
Wesley Willis, one of outsider rock's most prolific, enthusiastic and beloved artists, died Thursday, Aug. 21, of complications from chronic myelogenous leukemia. He was 40.

No word on whether the afterlife is a "hell ride" or whether his demons are still following him.

Anyone who doesn't read the Tribune's obituary deserves an unfriendly head butt.

This open letter to Hollywood made Romenesko. The critic's message should extend to the RIAA as well.

God Save the Osbournes
I'm glad I watched SportsCenter last night because ESPN played footage of Ozzy and Sharon "singing" "Take Me out to the Ball Game."

13 August 2003
My car broke this morning.

I told my girlfriend I couldn't talk to her because I was too busy.

Computer problems prevented all the Vox pages from being sent and checked on film before about 9 p.m.

I got an internship offer.

I didn't eat between 9:15 a.m. and 9:45 p.m.

Today was a disaster.
